Here's how it works

The Video Prospecting Competition will start on the 10th of May 2021 at 1:00 AM CEST and end on 14th of May 2021 at 4:00 PM CEST, with the award ceremony.

Here are the rules:

  • 1 video sent = 1 point
  • 1 reply = 10 points
  • 1 meeting booked with video = 100 points
  • All videos have to be sent before 11:59 AM CEST on the 14th of May to be counted. Anything sent after will not be considered
  • The participant with the most points wins

The jury will award 50 points to one participant on the following criteria:

  • Content of the video (is it grabbing the attention of prospects, is it interesting?)
  • Creativity

Is this competition for me?

The Video Prospecting Competition is for any sales rep selling who needs to prospect (SDR/AE). If you’re job involves outreaching to customers, then you’ll get a ton of value.

How much does it cost?

This competition is exclusively available to active members of the T-shaped Sales Community. You have two options. You can either pick the monthly plan for €10/month or get a 16% discount if you pick the annual subscription for €100/year.

I would like to expense this. How can I do that?

Most people who work with me have dedicated training and education budgets. You can find and copy an email script to send to your boss here.

How much time do I need to dedicate to this?

It all depends on the time you’ll need to shoot prospecting videos. We estimate between 30 minutes and 2 hours per day.

What do I need to attend?

You need a computer, an internet connection, and a free Vidyard account.

How do I score points?

The rules are simple.

  • 1 video sent = 1 point
  • 1 reply = 10 points
  • 1 meeting booked with video = 100 points
  • All videos have to be sent before 11:59 AM CEST on the 14th of May to be counted. Anything sent after will not be considered

How do I submit my videos?

You will receive an individual form to submit your results. You will have to share the link of the video, as well a screen capture of the conversation to validate your replies and meeting points. We will erase all data submitted once the validation has been made.

A live leaderboard will be available in the Discord group of the community.
